Upon arriving at the venue I spoke to the staff on the door and explained that I had access tickets and asked if me and my party (one PA and one paying customer) could access the venue early to avoid the crowds as I use crutches. They brought the guy that organises access and he brought us all inside before doors. He showed me around the venue and asked where I would like to sit, he could either get me a seat for the side of the stage on the floor, or I could go onto the balcony, stating that was a better view but it would involve walking up stairs. I chose to go upstairs and he was very patient and friendly along the way. He gave us choice of the whole balcony to find somewhere to sit so we sat directly across from the stage near the toilets and bar. The view and sound was great, the staff were very friendly and would come and check if I needed anything throughout the gig. I used the mens toilets rather than the disabled toilets however the stall was very roomy and there was enough room and grab rails to manuvre safely. After the gig the same member of staff walked down the stairs behind me to ensure I could safely take my time without the crowd interfering.
